Venturing the Culinary World with CFCA’s E-Cookbook
The Center for Culinary Arts (CFCA) will share flavorful recipes and helpful cooking and baking techniques on May 16, 2022, at 5:00 PM through their E-Cookbook entitled Life of a Wandering Chef: 27 Days with Maddie Saffron. It will be released on Twitter, Facebook, and MS Teams to guide various readers in cooking and baking endeavors.
Apart from containing recipes and techniques, the cookbook serves as the journal of CFCA mascot Maddie Saffron, which explains additional features such as brief tales, notes, journal entries, and photos from her journeys around the world. Maddie Saffron’s culinary progress and findings from her travels include dishes, recipes, photos, and designs crafted by the CFCA students and production team.
The online cookbook aims to inspire its readers to enhance their core cooking and baking talents and encourage readers’ creativity in developing their own recipes or adding a twist to the ones presented in Life of a Wandering Chef: 27 Days with Maddie Saffron. CFCA President Ikia Lluisma shared in an interview that the affordable recipes would “stimulate readers’ inventiveness, patience, endurance, and ingenuity, which is especially vital considering the impending pandemic,”
