Unleash the Inner Diva with FEMINA: Icons of Change — the Center for Dance’s Talent Festival

Divas! Get ready to stroll down the runway and be your own cover girl with FEMINA: Icons of Change, the highly anticipated talent festival of the Center for Dance, to be live-streamed online via their YouTube channel on Saturday, May 7, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. The event will be similar to former talent fests hosted by the CFD as FEMINA serves as the Center’s year-end culmination of learnings and practices, and a showcase of the hard work of the students. This year’s talent festival prides itself on a distinguishable theme of divas and iconic female musicians over the course of pop culture history, with each dance class performing choreography from artists such as Madonna, Blackpink, Ariana Grande, and P!nk, among others.

In addition to the performances of each section, guest performers are set to dominate the dance floor too, such as Legit Status, Fuego, Squadra, and more. Sheicka De Vera, Center for Dance President, hopes that the SPCP student body will look forward to the program, as it is a direct result of several months of preparation from the FEMINA production team and the consistent dedication of CFD students. Moreover, she believes that FEMINA: Icons of Change promotes women’s empowerment, while simultaneously paying tribute to all the icons and divas from the past and present.
