On January 25 to 26, 2025 within the beautifully adorned walls of the Pere Chauvet Hall (PCH) — a dazzling symphony of flavors and sounds came to life during the Center for Culinary Arts’ Annual Talent Fest, StrEATscape 2025: The Garden of Bellaria.

Spearheaded by the center’s President and Secretary, Lana Quibuloy and Ashley Salgado, the Center for Culinary Arts transformed the venue into a cozy space of prowess and luxury inspired by the Regency era. The event showcased dishes that revealed evident perseverance, creativity, and a profound passion for culinary artistry. From yema mini cakes to sisig puffs, or even cool lemon tea and vanilla lattes — they were among the many delectable treats that guests may indulge in.

StrEATscape was more than just a culinary extravaganza. While many tunes reverberated as profoundly as the aromas coming from the plates and trays — live performances gifted by various student talents allowed guests to fully immerse themselves in the fusion of food, entertainment, and music. Everyone was reminded by the occasion that food, like entertainment, can ignite a sense of enjoyment, appreciation, and even the feeling of belonging.

Behind every dish curated was the relentless pursuit to create something enjoyable. The flakiness of a profiterole, to the perfect balance of spices in a sisig puff, it all came from sheer dedication to turn food into art. Each tray put together contained more than just mere food — it also contained the artistry of the students who were passionate about making it.

This event honored the ability of food to inspire, connect, and communicate while also celebrating culinary prowess. It showed that people can unite around a table and find shared enjoyment in having a simple meal with accompanied ambiance — like an unspoken, universal language. This inventiveness, with one dish at a time, was present in every sip and mouthful — and the center’s dedication to the medium was duly fulfilled through StrEATscape 2025.
