SPIRIT WEEK 2023: Ablaze the Celestia of Green and Gold

One, two, three, four, the Center for Sports is knocking at your door! Five, six, seven, eight, the Pep Rally is coming soon, so save the date!
Orbiting around the corner is the SPIRIT WEEK 2023, the annual celebration of Paulinian talent and school pride as presented by the GIFT Center for Sports. The project aims to foster a sense of community and camaraderie amongst the Paulinian community through the various stellar performances to be featured in the Spirit Week’s sole event entitled “SONDER: A Fiery Spirit Among the Stars,” the annual PEP RALLY. SONDER will be held this coming August 29, 2023 (Tuesday), on the first floor of the St. Paul College Pasig S.P.A.C.E. from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
Be on the lookout for the shining stars in this event, namely the twenty different varsity teams under the high school department! Each varsity team will be given ample time to showcase their unique skills and abilities to the rest of the institution during the two-hour Pep Rally. Aside from the routine talent demonstrations from the different varsity teams, the Center for Sports aims to introduce “The Mark of Synergy,” a new traditional practice to be used in all forthcoming Pep Rally events from this academic year onwards. “The Mark of Synergy” will have each varsity member receiving drawn marks on their face from their respective team captains, an emblem symbolizing their hard work and commitment towards their passion.
Audience participation for “SONDER: A Fiery Spirit Among the Stars” is required for all non-varsity students as they will be excused from afternoon classes to partake in the festivities of the Pep Rally performances. All students with GIFT classes on August 29 (Tuesday) are still expected to attend their GIFT classes after the event, as the Pep Rally will not serve as GIFT attendance for the day, given that SONDER is scheduled during academic hours. Lastly, SPCP Alumni and families of the varsity members are welcome to attend the Pep Rally and show support to all the performing varsity teams.
