TERPSICHORE JAZZ: IYDC LINEUP

From December 6 to 8, Terpsichore Jazz will be in Bangkok, Thailand, competing in the International Youth Dance Competition (IYDC) — a global event that aims to showcase and nurture young dancers’ skills through workshops and competitions. Representing both the school and the Philippines, Terpsichore Jazz will participate in four events held at the Aksra Theatre in King Power, Bangkok, Thailand.

The competing events include “Flames,” a Contemporary Solo, and “Graduation Ball,” a Classical Ballet Solo, performed by Bianca Magbatoc on December 7. On December 8, Isabelle Badiola, Francesca Bertulfo, and Luntian Santillan will compete in a Jazz Trio called “Sing Sing Sing.” On the same day, the team will perform under the Lyrical Small Group Category with the performance entitled “I Have Nothing,” featuring Maria Arcangel, Anastasia Anonuevo, Isabelle Badiola, Francesca Bertulfo, Sam Capili, Sofia Enage, Carmela Estrella, Bianca Magbatoc, Harmony Mangaya, Jareehna Montenegro, Jessica Perlas, and Luntian Santillan. Throughout all competition days, Magbatoc will also be participating in soloist workshops that challenge various genres such as ballet, contemporary, and jazz.

Join and support Terpsichore Jazz by following the updates on IYDC’s social media platforms and the team on their social media accounts. Help be the energy behind their passion and help keep their spirit alive. Stand tall, stand proud, and bring home victory with your every move. Relevé to the top, Terpsichore Jazz!
